The vendor area will be open from 7:30 am to 2:40 pm! Vendors from many beekeeping companies will bee on site selling equipment, books and unique gifts and information.

Silent Auction! 

Registration is highly encouraged. Online registration link below. Walk-in Registration is accepted (no box lunch provided).

The conference provides a wide variety of topics for beginner to advanced beekeepers through a choice of keynote topics and 12 concurrent sessions.

  • 7:30 am -8:00 am: D104- Main Auditorium - Movie!  Bee Venom Therapy

  • 8:00 am - 8:10 am: Welcome! Announcements, explanation of concurrent sessions, lunch and the silent auction.

  • 8:10 am - 9:40 am: Keynote Speaker: Jim Tew. Healthy Colonies: a review of some non-pathogenic conditions that can cause bee colonies to fail to thrive

  • 9:55 am - 10:45 am: 1st Concurrent Session (see below)

  • 11:00 am -12:00 pm: Keynote Speaker Jim Tew on Foulbrood - Still Here, Still Persistent. European and American Foulbrood overview of controls and eradication procedures

  • LUNCH - 12:00 PM TO 1:00 PM

  • 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm: Keynote Speaker Jim Tew on Wintering Stress in the Bees Nest. Behavioral activities that allow tropically oriented bees to survive abnormally low temperatures. 

  • 2:05 pm - 2:15 pm:  D104 Main Auditorium - Silent Auction results

  • 2:15 pm - 2:40 pm: Pay for silent auction items, final call for vendors, take your items to the car

  • 2:40 pm - 3:30 pm: 2nd Concurrent Session (see below)
